The Chequers Inn is a busy town centre pub that offers not only a night out but much much more.
Not only do we know how to party at the weekend, but we also know how to relax after a your shopping trip or a hard day at work.
Situated at the bottom end of the High Street towards the Byron Cinema the pub offers a relaxed and friendly atmosphere to all visitors, new or regular.
Draught Lagers and Beers are our specialty and we take pride in the quality of the pint we serve.
We have all the big names as you would expect from a town centre pub. Carling, Strongbow, Guinness to name a few are available all day, everyday.
The weekends are really when The Chequers comes alive though. Thursday to Sunday nights are always popular with customers enjoying the free entertainment and a drink (or two!)
